I've always been fascinated by the things I photograph. My images are meant to stir a little emotion and make us curious about how things were in the "good old days."
What was it like to live in a big old farmhouse, work on the ranch, learn your ABCs in a one-room schoolhouse, or attend services in that little church? As you study my photographs I hope you are just a little curious too.
My collection of photographs represents hundreds of rolls of film, and thousands of miles of exploring out-of-the-way towns, villages and settlements of the West.
Most sites are long since abandoned, some have a couple of people holding onto their dreams and the "new" pioneers occupy a few.
